Cotswold Humanists meet at The Brownhills Centre which is at the far back and left of the St Pauls Medical Centre site at 122 Swindon Road, Cheltenham. GL51 9EZ. There is ample parking. We meet on the 4th Friday of the month from 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start. (The meeting in August is usually a pub lunch and we have no meeting in December) £1.50 is normally requested at each meeting to cover the cost of refreshments and to make a small contribution to room hire costs. |

| Friday 28th October | Mike Lake from Derbyshire Humanists is coming down to talk to us about "Why do some people need religion when others don't." |

Friday 25th November |
Simon Richards, Director of The Freedom Association will talk about the organisation before handing over to Cheltenham based David Lane QC who will speak about "Freedom". |
| Friday 6th January | New Year Party. Please being along a plate of food to share and a game, poem, item to amuse etc. Drinks will be provided. |
| Friday 27th January | Cheltenham Samaritans. A talk about their work by a group member. |
| Friday 24th February | Islam and Shar'ia law. A talk by Dr Taj Hargey, Chairman of the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford and Imam of the Oxford Islamic Congregations which promotes a rational and relevant interpretation of British Islam. |
| Friday 23rd March | AGM followed by a short talk on "Darwin's Friends and Enemies" by group member John Ricketts. |
